Well got into the car with the key yesterday, as expected the alarm went off started it parked up down the street and it worked fine, came back home and it wouldnt work again....so i parked on another street and again it worked so im assuming that its not the sensor thats gone and it is some interference around my house.....parked back up in the drive and it actually locked......tried again about an hour later and nothing.........as i said earlier the only thing that i can think it could be is the house alarm, bit weird that its just started doing it all of a sudden? Going to shut the whole system down over the weekend just to make sure that it is the house alarm Thanks again for your comments lads :)

Hope it's not the same problem I had with my IS200 Sport a few weeks ago, but it's the same symptoms....my receiver under the back parcel shelf needed replacing...£150. Im hoping its not mate.....was that for the part and is it a DIY job

The 4300 are the closest to the stock HIDs and will produce the most light :winky:

Morning all seem to be having a problem with my key not unlocking the car?......ive changed the battery (tried 3, all new) and still no luck....anyone experienced anything similar. .....ive also managed to round off one of the screws inside the key, anyone know if these can be bought from the dealers? TIA

I went through 3 pairs of front tyres in under a year (roughly 6-8000 odd miles) when i got my my IS from lex croydon......very annoying, however i wasnt too bothered as i got them to replace them, then i went to Mr Bones in May 2005, still running the same front set :) !!....Tony will need them changed when i come back for me fine tune.....get that centre open :winky:

If I remember correctly, it's about £34ish quid for the pair direct from Lexus, and I think that's with a Gold discount. Check with Chris.S to be sure. From what i remember they were about £20....not 100% though, Chris ?? Where did you get smoked LS430 indicators from? I got them from Mike quite a while ago, he's not around anymore....essentially you could make your own anyway, just get a set from the dealers and get yourself a can of tint spray and add layers until it gets to a darkness you like.....make sure its good quality though, probably wash/rub off otherwise!......actually ive probably still got my original LS430 ones somewhere

as Rob said left side on the arch behind the fuse box with sticky pad, right side i used the metal mounting plate and mounted it with the fluid reservoir bracket, aint got no pics to hand sorry mate

Ive got an 8gb sdhc in my viewty, the phones firmware only shows 2gb on the phone but you can actually have more on the card (think ive heard there will be an updated version soon).......sounds can all be turned off, i dont like confirmations for everything i do ........although ive not learned how to use all its features yet, from what i have used its a very capable phone.......Camera is excellent...and i dont even know how to use the ISO and other settings its got yet
