  1. Thanks for the replies. I was planning on leaving the stock bits as they are in the event that I revert to stock come sale time. Looking forward to having it fitted, going with no secondary cats, X pipe, resonated section on the rear like the Joe Z and twin cutouts. Should sound filthy with the cutouts open 😍
  2. Yup the rollers at RS Tuning are known for reading a little under unlike others I've seen which can be overenthusiastic. I'm using it as a baseline run before any mods and to see what the difference at the wheel is between my ISF and my brothers XFR. Plus it's always nice to get a bunch of petrolheads together.
  3. It's been moved to the following Saturday (11th). We still have places available if you fancy a run. It starts at 09:00 but we will probably have the AWD on cars first followed by FWD and then the RWD ones.
  4. I'm having a new exhaust made up and fitted next month which removes the secondary cats. Is this likely to cause an issue with emissions come MOT time? My MOT isn't due till late August but it will be done at the local main dealer so I need to make sure that I won't fail the emissions
  5. So will it be the stock system with modded back boxes or are you removing the secondary cats too?
  6. Good stuff! We can have a sound off when we all meet up 😉
  7. Nice. I'm up for a meet especially in July as my exhaust is being sorted out at the end of June.
  8. I'd be up for it normally but I'm at the Aston Martin factory that day for a Pistonheads meet up.
  9. I recognise the photographers logo from some posts on Pistonheads. Don't suppose you allow ISF owners from the right side of the Pennines to tag along? :D
  10. Very nice. This wasn't a SCO meet by any chance was it?
  11. Time for a mini update. All booked in for the end of next month. Final price is £850 and that includes the cutout valves. I will however need to find an electrician to wire the power supply in for them. Final design will be as planned, just need to decide on how loud I want the new back boxes to be. I've spent the past few days driving my brothers XFR which has aftermarket back boxes that sound like this - Downshifts in sports mode in the XFR are stupidly fun. Trying to decide if I want something just as antisocial or if the valves will do the job for that.
  12. Driving my brothers XFR at the moment which has Sport Maxx RT tyres fitted so I'll see how I get on with them.
  13. Stock tyre sizes are - 225/40/19 front 255/35/19 rear A common upgrade size is - 245/35/19 front 275/30/19 rear A full set of Michelin Pilot Supersports in the upgrade size is around £730 exc fitting. I've averaged 19.34mpg across the 2200 or so miles in my first 3 months of ownership on V Power. Brake pads are pretty pricey (£300 for a front set iirc) from a main dealer but better third party pads are available. I'll be looking to change mins in a few months as the stock ones are stupidly dusty. Main dealer service prices can be found here - http://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/#Overview I got a discount from my local dealer when I purchased 3 years of services in a pack, saved me around £500 compared to the standard price
  14. Now that we have a few more northern members would you chaps be up for a meet at some point?
  15. Erm second best colour after black Not that I'm biased...
  16. Yup I always keep an eye out on the ones for sale. Looks like a cracking price, enjoy!
  17. Congratulations, welcome to the club. Which one did you end up buying?
  18. Out of curiosity does the H&S system have any pops and bangs especially when lifting off? I was alongside a F Type R coupe yesterday and the noise the stock exhaust makes is mental especially at low speeds with the pops and bangs. I get the feeling that it's all mapped in though.
  19. Yup a single system like that won't hurt the power levels given that the stock setup is a single system too. The majority of the performance increase will come from the removal of the secondary cats I guess which has been done on yours. My system should end up costing me £1k all in, I'm sourcing the valves myself and getting a local fabricator to make the system. Only annoyance is that he is booked up till mid June.
  20. I'm not that well versed on the subject matter but I'm guessing the dual flows better and will provide a bigger hp increase especially with the x pipe. For the record the quote I was given for a dual system from the chap that fabricated yours was in the region of £2k. That was with a pair of valves.
  21. I emailed Grom earlier to confirm which device works with the ISF and what it actually does. At £109 I'm tempted to buy it even if only allows me to control my music on Spotify via the steering wheel controls.
  22. I wonder if the Grom device lets you control apps like Google maps and Spotify via your display and steering wheel controls. That's the ideal solution for me.
  23. Valve open in town? Bet that sounds fun in tunnels!
  24. I've been pondering over one of those for a while now. Been using the aux in with my iPhone and it's becoming a tad annoying. Been meaning to stick a post up over on clublexus to see what users think especially if they are using it alongside a 6s.
