    Saying the engine and gearbox are the only things unique to the IS-F model is at best plainly wrong, LSD, wheels, suspension parts, pumps and other ancillaries are model specific, yes a radiator is not a moving part but to say it cant "rust" is not completely true, alloys corrode and therefore can leak. Nobody is saying an IS-F is a totally bespoke car, they are sayng how reliable it is.

    No it wasn't, I was sat in the passenger seat when the tester was driving and I drove the car for the photo shoot side of things, he seemed impressed with the car, it was the first one he had driven but who knows what he will write!!

    Just had an e mail from Modern Classics Magazine, the feature on my IS-F will be in the February issue, available in January!!! Hopefully they will speak highly of the car which should help residuals, shame I sold it!!!

    Not wanting to take the side of a dealer but they aren't making 25% profit, by the time you take into account the price of the warranty they will put on the car, the wages of everyone involved in the prep and the overheads while the car is sat in a well lit warm showroom giving out free coffee and biscuits the margin is coming down all the time. They may sell the car for 25% more than they paid for it but it certainly isn't all profit.

    Nice one @mrfunex I made the switch from Isf to Gsf about 6 weeks ago, and as you do I love it, nothing negative to report as yet although I might just do the same with the exhaust as I did with the Isf, not quite decided yet.

    Now now, you weren't "forced" to drive it were you, @Big Rat asked if you would drive it around the car park so he could listen to his own car............and you couldn't get in fast enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I know how you feell because it is only 4 weeks since I lost my ISF and I do miss it, a lot. End of emotional rant.

    It makes sense, the guys over on the GS forum are top blokes but I think I am on my own from an "F" point of view, that is why I have stayed on the IS forum, plus the fact @Big Rat told me if I left the cake supply would be halted.........................so here I am!!
