I do like the wheels but not on an Isf, not sure what I have seen them on, reminds me of a Leon Fr type thing.........................

That could be the one they sold, I remember seeing a blue one around Swindon quite often and I know they were the supplying dealer.

@Killysprint I am just over 3 months in to ownership with my Gsf and the car just gets better and better for me, nothing gone wrong, no surprises there, and no niggles or things I don't like about it, quite the opposite. The size of the car for me isn't an issue, I did think it would be, I parked my Isf next to it when I picked it up and as you say there is quite a difference, however on the road its a different story, when "making progress" the size seems to disappear and it really does feel quite different to the Isf. One thing you will really need to get used to, the amount of attention the car gets, it has really surprised me. I know what you are saying about the depreciation it is incredible in the first 2 years and while I do think about where the value of the car will be in 3-4 years it did not influence my decision and never has done really, once I have made my decision on a car then that's it I am having it. Keep us posted..........

Good point, I have dealt with 4 different Lexus dealers and none had an in house bodyshop.

Great advice, try not to be sucked in by the claims management people, before you know it you will be down at A&E having an X Ray on your neck to support the exorbitant/spurious claim..................

Actually, looking at this again today without the Saturday Guinness/Tanqueray filter I think you are right, it does look fussy, is it the colour or maybe the angle the photo was taken from, all the shut lines are visible which makes me think it is the angle the car is viewed from, anyway it is still my next car.

The common denominator here is reliability, but then you already knew that, the Jag sounds interesting!!! looking at the BHP figure i would expect very similar performance from the ISF, i am on my 5th Lexus and second "F V8" and have not had a single issue. The later cars come with revised suspension, not sure there is a massive difference, LSD and different instruments, engines are identical, as ever buy one with history and if possible from a member on here and enjoy years of trouble free grinning....................

Really is a great looking car, i have spent many a happy mile behind it!! Whoever gets it will have a good 'un.

The states seem to get a lot of water leak or pump issues, I say seem because if you take into account the number of cars over there compared to here it is a very small number that have an issue. As others have said I have not heard of one issue with coolant loss from that area of the engine.

Well you cant miss that rear number plate can you.................how big.............

The "facelift car" as they call it, didn't appear with the revised dash, sat nav, LSD etc all in one go, some 2011 cars have some of the changes but not others, the car featured in Modern Classics at the moment was my car and as you can see from the photos it doesn't have the updated clocks but does have the upgraded sat nav and later LSD, signified by the blue panel at the bottom of the steering wheel, I am sure there were a couple of other mistakes but without reading the whole bloody thing again I cant remember them.

What a load of tosh, drones on and on, and despite all the waffle some of the details about it being "a genuine facelift car" are clearly wrong!!!!!!!!!
