    I thought that. But does this mean that the upchange beep has been disabled / or not present on the upgraded IS-F? Also, is there an auto upchange going on here? I must be missing something obvious.

    Whilst walking through town yesterday, a 5L Mustang drove past. I have to say I was very impressed by the noise. Firstly, I appreciate that sound is subjective and the Mustang and IS-F are completely different types of cars, but here is my question anyway. Those of you that have changed exhausts, would you say that your car sounds as good as a Mustang? Apologies for what might be a dumb question, but I've never heard another IS-F on the road, let alone heard one with a custom exhaust :)

    Gap insurance is pretty cheap. Got to be worth having.

    Suppose it depends on your budget. C63 obvious option. Wildcard - Tesla? You could always keep the IS-F and have a family hatch for the 5 seater jobs.

    The ride is firm, no doubt. But I think it gets much worse press than it deserves. I suffer from a bad back, so I am relatively fussy. Our old 335i was arguably as bad as the ISF, and I thought the M3 (E92) was no better. Good luck with the search!

    Sounds a bit like journalistic creativity to me. In sport manual, the upshifts are harsh, but you don't have select this mode.
