  1. McLaren seem to have shockingly bad reliability
  2. What if I told you I had customised the Merc - would that make a difference? 🤣 I've got a new air freshener - now that's customised!!!!
  3. Sorry - wasn’t suggesting a meet, just general comment on C&M
  4. Don't get me wrong - the 993 (C2s wide body was the car I was referring to) looks the dogs b, but I'm afraid it's quite agricultural and pretty unforgiving. Re pedals - I was referring to the nature of the way they hinge from the floor. At the end of the day - each to their own, and no offence meant :)
  5. I wouldn't ever entertain C&M at a weekend. Quite nice during the week however
  6. Hated the 993. Bloody pedals. And it was like driving a tractor! Watch out for RMS on 996 etc and bore scoring.Frightening!
  7. https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/a30243845/lexus-twin-turbo-v8-lc-f-nurburgring/
  8. Nope. Get a baby seat in there, but I wouldn't try much more
  9. See your point there Jeff. Talking about V8 noise, an old school landrover drove past me the other day. RV8. Sounded absolutely epic. Following it was an E63. The Merc sounded tame in comparison! Sign of the times
  10. I think, as a petrol head, sooner or later you'll find yourself drifting back towards Autotrader. Moving on to the next car is inevitable. I suspect for most, the Lexus F brand (outside of the L-FA) doesn't give enough to keep ownership interesting forever. But that's true of most brands. In an ideal world, wouldn't we all have several garages and at least 10 cars? 🙂 Regarding Porsche. I owned a Boxster S and drove lots of 993s and 996s. As already said, the steering is mega and being a Porsche, they do feel special, but I certainly wouldn't want to drive one as a daily.
  11. Shame they didn't go AMG. Good enough for me (and Aston Martin) 😁 Whatever they do, lets hope they don't use stupid augmentation like they do in the RC-F and GS-F!!
  12. Part of me wishes that they do. Only the other day I found myself on Autotrader looking at LC500 prices - yummy! However, I just couldn't go back to the shortfalls of the Lexus V8 - mainly lack of low down torque. So, a twin turbo V8 would get my attention. On the other hand, I still believe that the actual engine / induction noise (not exhaust) from the NA Lexus V8 is blimin sublime.
  13. Out of interest, where'd they all go? FlyTvr - Mercedes C63 (205) fair enough Yeh, definitely the wisest move out of those listed 😊 Plenty fast enough despite having less power than the RC-F. @Rusty Crobar - Seat Cupra OMG what a chav Chav..... hmmmm. Not sure you'd see which way he went on a twisty road in your blue Calibra Sean 😉 @emjay82 - GT86 - Peugeot Fanny Peugeot - going from strength to strength!! @Warrington guy - BMW M4 Good choice M4...... just can't deal with the synthetic engine noise. @Big Rat - Lexus RX450h Miss you grandad He's doing alright! 🙂 Where'd the rest of the x F car owners go?

  15. Sorry!!!! PINK!!! I'm good mate - thanks. How's you? Yes, still got the ASBO Merc. Been busy scaring dogs, small children and everything else 😂 I might now wear Merc underwear (skid resistant), but I still feel quite at home in the F world 🙂
