  1. Rattie doesn't 1. Eat much cake 2. Doesn't drink much Guinness 3. Doesn't come up for air very often
  2. Lol. Steering rack issue is documented via LSB. Kept low key. I know of two dealers in the UK that are well aware of the issues. I guess I am one of the lucky ones that has got it replaced.
  3. Exactly that 🤗 However, I suspect that the Lexus garage that tried to fix the issue lacks sufficient technical know how to even find the exact cause of the problem in the first place. So we'll never know what the problem was or a fix other than that that Lexus suggested I.e. A new seat at 44k miles or to just ignore it
  4. 🙂 Warranty is still a must for me. I wouldn't drive an F without a warranty. I was one of the unlucky ones that had the steering rack fix (replacement) done on warranty. £3.5k. Lexus recognise the design fault with the F rack and thus pay out. A new driver's seat from Lexus, > £6k 😱 So 50/50 success rate for me.
  5. Of course. I'm on my phone so won't be typing much, but at 44k my front seat needing replacing. Stealer, Lexus warranty and Lexus customer care passed the problem between them, leaving me with the bill. Like I said, ISF parts can be very expensive. Having to replace a seat at 44k miles is acceptable according to Lexus
  6. Lexus Bristol............🤠🤠🤠🤠🤡🤡🤡🤠🤡🤠🤡😟🤡
  7. That reminds me. @Big Rat, where you getting your remoulds from?
  8. Every day there seem to be less and less nice clean examples with FLSH and a complete stock setup. I guess what I am saying is that unless you are very patient, I wouldn't get too hung up on colour. All down to personal taste, but I'd go for any colour except red, which doesn't suit the car and black which is so boring. Finally go into ISF ownership with eyes open. Reliability per buck, I still think the ISF is unbeatable, but things do go wrong, and when they do, parts are expensive and you'll potentially be in the hands of Lexus stealers and a warranty system that isn't necessarily as good as you may think
  9. Yeh, @Rusty Crobar, @Big Rat also says 'put your hand in the fire'
  10. Don't worry, it'll be pink in colour sooner or later 😄
  11. All smoke and mirrors. Who knows what will be desirable in he future. I suspect out of the F range it won't be the RCF - but who knows. A BMW Z8 drove past me last week. For a car that everybody seemed to hate back in the day, the cheapest I could find is...... £135,000. Unlike the F range, the Z8 was well publicised and I believe starrred in a Bond film?7
  12. Interesting that an M140 was significantly slower, I wouldn't have thought there'd be anything in it
  13. If @Big Rat ever got done, his defence could be "But your honor, I don't drive fast, I use remould tyres on my ISF"
  14. Lexus Bristol. I love them I do. I will soon be documenting their excellent service
  15. Dear Mid Wales Rozzers. Whilst out walking in mid-Wales, we witnessed this yobbo driving like an idiot. I shot this image at 1/8000th of a second at F2.8. From this you should have sufficient evidence to prosecute this Toyota Avensis driver. Kindest regards. Flytvr (Editor Of Volvo & Caraving Classics)
  16. Actually it wasn't a Golf R32 it was a Polo 1.0L (whilst I was driving round the Nurburgring). Polo / Golf - they all look the same to me.
  17. This is true. BUT, you like both AND power tools - respect!
  18. I'll add two more words. WHY BOTHER? 😎❤️
  19. Being the least technical person on this forum, I have to (innocently) ask, does any of this matter?
  20. https://lexusenthusiast.com/2017/07/17/rumor-next-generation-lexus-gs-f-powered-by-4-0l-twin-turbo-v8/
  21. I'm glad they are going T. Hopefully in the long run it will hopefully make NA more special
