  1. so, avoid Arnold Clark. Bait and switch, they have reduced the offer by more than £1000 because - as most cars - weels needed refurb, total cost would be £150 to do it privately. Wouldn't trust him to give me the money after that, so I will try something else, or keep it and sell it to a friend, or something like that Just not to Arnold Clark
  2. I just checked and confirm that Arnold clark just offered me 5% more than WBAC and 10% more than Williams. Thanks for the tip, I will probably visit them in the next 7 days ( while offer is valid)
  3. Relax warranty is the same for Toyota considering that Toyota Supra is a rebadged BMW Z4, having a BMW with a 10 years warranty, sounds like an interesting proposition
  4. That's Steven Eagell Wolverhampton Lexus, so if you want to buy from them, maybe it's a good time to hugle.
  5. Have to say I bought one of the very first GS250 in 2012, had 3 completely faultless years with it. ( ok, one software problem developed near the end of three years that I did not bother sorting as I returned the vehicle to Lexus)
  6. fair enough, but the iX1 has same power and acceleration, has about 70 miles more range and costs about 10-15K less. Not sure they have priced the RZ right. https://www.bmw.co.uk/en/all-models/bmw-i/iX1/2022/bmw-ix1-highlights.html#technical-data
  7. I always wanted to buy an Alfa ( for personal reasons, father had a 1600 Giulia nuova super when I was a kid, looked exactly like this : followed by a Giulietta ) Are they still suffering with quality problems?
  8. There is no way a 200miles EV justifies 72K price ( in takumi spec )
  9. that's good value, I am changing brake fluids ( the car contacted the garage via its app), in a couple of weeks, it costs £69 considering you have a nice LC500, I think you should do it, no questions asked
  10. I am surprisingly happy with Williams Manchester BMW so far. For example one occasion there was some radiator leak that was flagged on the system, fixed unter warranty, no cost. During service they identified some oil leaked around the gearbox - a leak that was not detected as yet by any alarm. They said " let's fix it now while you are under warranty, you don't want this happening outside of it". Fixed, again under warranty, no charge. No issues since ( other than tyres/breaks etc, standard wear and tear) Lexus Bolton was always previously good as well.
  11. Agree. I am still waiting for mine ( hopefully here in the next couple of months) My intention is for this to be my last non - electric vehicle so I wanted something with rock solid build quality that will do everything right for the next 15 years. Can not think of a better choice, irrespectively of brand, for that purpose.
  12. On topic, I think at the moment the best VFM Lexus to buy, is the current RX. Significant discounts, amazing build quality, 3.5V6 and favourable PCP.
  13. Frankly, I don't think you can reject this car based on the issues you mentioned.
  14. I hope he agreed in writing and paper has a Lexus stamp. By the time the car arrives, the dealer may be working for Marks and Spencer for all you know.
  15. oh well, so what's your plan, will you keep the order?
  16. Dealer said car is sailing and will be here in October? Must have a really slow ship.
  17. so in essence the bZ4X configuration. That would make more sense!
  18. ehm, and what? 130 miles range? It is a much bigger car!
  19. Well, Lexus stocport says the prices are incorrect and I should wait for the official anouncement. ( perhaps Lexus didn't like the feedback so far) Ok then, let's wait
