No, it is not an issue really. I always charge it at home so having even at worst case scenario 160 miles range for daily commute, is more than adequate. It is surprising similar to the Lexus inside, at least the top spec e+. Some trim bits feel a notch down quality wise, but overall quality is more than adequate ( much better than the disastrous ID3 ) and I am quite happy with it. oh, and it is quite fast indeed I did consider the UX300e, - there are some amazing offers now , even for Takumi spec on Autotrader, '71plate with less than 100 miles on the clock for £46,572 - but I think that range anxiety would become an issue

really cold winter days affected my Leaf about 20% ( from 200 miles to 160 ) Keep in mind though that I used heated seats, steering wheel, A/C etc

bmw's fuel consumption is pretty bad really, around 30something mpg for longer than 50 miles trips

I have a 225XE plug - in. You can press a button and the engine will start charging the battery. I presume that other PHEV's do the same when fully depleted and in normal mode, will usually charge it up to mile's worth of charging, so when in traffic one can usually go with the battery In sport mode battery is almost always charged at 40% for best possible acceleration etc

Lexus NX 450+ is a great option, but all PHEV's can self charge

You are just paying for the depreciation. If it's 0% it makes perfect sense. In any case, you can buy the Leaf cash if so you wish ( or even better the UX300e )

Got one , I am pretty happy so far considering the price. It is nice and quite, only things I miss are electric seats and head up display. Everything else is standard . Would definitely recomend it on a 3 years 0% PCP ( and return it as it will be in negative equity by then)
