  1. Welcome to the club!! They are great cars and you'll have loads of fun. @Twellsie has had the most experience with the various shocks on the ISF and gives some great advice above. I went from standard shocks to lowering springs on the front (Tein) in a few weeks and the difference was vast. Much more forgiving ride (but without losing any of the great handling) and a lower stance to boot. I've still got a full set of Tein H-Tech springs (fronts with 20k on, rears unused) for the car if you are interested. Let me know. I then went to the furthest extreme and fitted Airlift 3P a few months back. Best decision I ever made, albeit an expensive option! The above is aired out but normal drive height is about where I was with my lowering springs. Rides like a magic carpet but still handles like an F1 car.
  2. Just a quick word of warning for those of us using the Takeda Retain intakes from Afe on their ISFs. Been down on power a little lately and had a weird noise like a tiny pig oinking every time I let off the accelerator. Had to change my dipped beam bulbs the other day so took a lot of the frontward contents of the engine bay out and found this!! Just a warning to other users, the rubber intake hoses that come with the Takeda are crap and will split. Had mine in for about a year tops. Duly replaced with brand new silicone versions from ASH.
  3. Just ticked over a hilarious milestone on mine recently...... BOOBS!!!!
  4. Wanted, left handed unicorn. Good luck mate. Not sure many of these will come up 🤔
  5. Don't waste your time with anything other than genuine lexus ones. They fit like gloves and once fitted they just look stock. No window channel issues. Price is what you pay, value is what you get! Tried to find some decent close ups of them fitted but this is the best I've got.
  6. Look at this on eBay https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F123847398686 Not sure if they are any good but definitely lower priced than others. Zircotech will ceramic coat them for about £150 so they should last forever then, stainless or not.
  7. I get these but only rarely on the ISF, non stock wheels though. I think you will get this on all wheels. Maybe just soft paint and lacquer on the GSF wheels so it's more prevalent.
  8. Why oh why do people not clean the inside of their cars before taking pictures? WTF?
  9. Mercedes don't come with Nav any more. All Mercedes drivers know exactly what they are going all the time 😜. And they are all extremely offended that we would even suggest otherwise 🙄.
  10. Great review and lovely looking car mate, in the only colour cars should ever come in too! Now get it on Airlift and don't look back 😜
  11. Don't think it can be updated but even then it would be like having a top of the range VHS player.
  12. That is extremely odd. They stock ISF and GSF, why not RCF?
  13. Euro car parts Typically have a 50% off offer every few months and they are about half Lexus price anyway. I have used Pagid discs and pads on the ISF which are slightly lower price than OEM Brembo from them. Much better brake feel but they are noisier and duster. Enjoy!
  14. Full set of 2009 OEM Lexus ISF Suspension units with a full set of Tein lowering springs, rear Teins never fitted, OEM front springs included. Good used condition and full working order, only selling as now on Airlift. DM any questions. £350 ono, collection only. UK (Herts) based. Also on ebay with a few more pics and a low starting price.
  15. Ian did one on his ISF recently, I'm sure there is a thread with it in.
  16. Take a look an YouTube for a guy called NeverL8inaV8 who had an ISF for many years. That ticking seems to hit them all at one point or another and disappears after service for a short while.... Then returns. Nothing to query about but absolutely, an excuse for RR products! 😎😎 You'll properly enjoy the car, they are a great platform and if got are into modifications then there is plenty avaliable. If you are on Instagram then there are lots of them stateside that are heavily modded as well as my own in the UK @isf_dan Keep us posted 😊👍😊
  17. Yes! Try and get a warranty on mine. The man from Lexus.... He says No! Two and a half years in, nothing gone wrong other than the water pump gasket which was right in schedule at 58k. I've put the money I would have spent on a warranty to one side just in case anything should go wrong...... So far it hasn't. When you have that much aftermarket stuff on your car the Lexus warranty department won't go near you.
  18. A nice side shot aired out for anyone who is interested 😎 And a nice sundown one at normal ride height for everyone else 😁
