  1. Now it's re categorised - 'Virtual Non Runner & Grade 5' at auction 26th Nov in Bridgewater. 🤐
  2. And maybe a few not so careful owners 🙄 This early 2010 Mesa red goes under the hammer at a BCA in Bridgewater. 1 key & no service history. 61k The attached condition report makes sad reading 20143422.pdf
  3. "True, it was also lumbered with an eight-speed slusher not really up to the job of interacting with a demanding, big displacement motor" - such cobblers 🙄 Do these people ever actually drive these cars ? Granted I have only driven a ISF but I cant see a GSF box being a retrograde step.
  4. I do like the shouty colour of your RC F 👍 the seats really add to look of the car. Top work
  5. Only thing wrong with the car is the price! Thats because it needs some paint correction, wheel refurb (properly) and a set of tyres. It needs a service for 2019 and then it has all main dealer on the nose. Car supermarkets are shi$e at selling specialist cars
  6. Just beat me to it 😁 Yep, Mark & Jack do a really excellent job with there reviews.
  7. New thread 😁 Wanted 2010+ ISF with a sunroof. Preferred colours are : White, US Blue, Mesa. In that order. I am aware of all current cars for sale in the usual places ebay, auto trader, approved Lexus. PH So if you are thinking about moving yours on then drop me a message
  8. YT12 MJY Mesa Red has now been reserved. Anyone on here ?
  9. My Mac did an update last night and killed the links I saved to the reports. 🤐 From memory - 1 dent in each door - less than 30mm. Washer bottle needed fluid 😁Dent - less than 30mm in nsr quarter panel That was about it, so easily sorted by dealership.
  10. Mesa was a colour that I needed to see in the flesh. Photos don't do it any justice. It's a great colour for an IS F 👍
  11. That's the car. I saved the inspection report and condition appraisal. Sadly unless you attend the auction or have a trade account with BCA you cant tell what the hammer price was.
  12. Glynn, your right, it drives really nicely. Some of the paintwork issues that you highlighted to me has been done, A pillar, laquer peel on the bonnet, sill scrape. The 5p ding in passenger door is still there. Wheels have been done and remarked. Tyres are shocking. From the head office I established it has had 4 keepers and a full ( annual ) service history from Lexus apart from one which was due May 2019. Even though it is devoid of a sunroof, it needs rescuing and if they would bit the bullet and sell it at the £20k mark I would be in. Just checked the website and it's gone frpm £21,998 to £22,206 WTF🙄
  13. Mesa Red on AT. Fantastic colour in the flesh. 👍 This car has been mentioned on here before and has been in the network for over a year. Car has paintwork blemishes and mis matched tyres on the front, a Falken and a Sportactive with a split. Bridgestone Potenzas on the rear - one of which has shoulder wear. Piece of trim loose on nearside front wheel well. Discs all rusty from lack of use. No mats. Both keys. As usual with car warehouses, they don't hold the car files at the site and they know bugger all about what they are selling. Finance Sir, Paint protection Sir. Warranty ( RAC ) Sir. Wont move on price .
  14. When a IS F came up at a dealers about an hours drive away I thought, best get and drive one 😀 First impressions on seeing the car on the forecourt were - thats a muscular looking car with a wide low stance. The salesman started it to move it out and that lovely muted V8 sound on cold idle sounded just right. The seating position with it's low dash line was perfect for me and the steering wheel the right size and thickness, mirrors gave a lovely rear view without having to look for them. Controls and steering all light and very positive. Felt right at home even before pulling out onto the road. The gearbox in auto was very slick, effortless and seamless changes as the car built speed. I was expecting some harshness in the ride, but on this 2012 model it felt fine to me. No rattles or creaks. Once warm I hit the sports button and dropped it into 2nd on the paddles and as soon as it hit 3800rpm the 2nd intake roar filed the cabin with that extra air being feed into the engine and the needle raced towards the red line, at which point the salesman said 'that's the turbo kicking in" 🙄I knew then that he nothing about the.F cars. Really liked the centre dash tach layout and the warning lights as you approach the red line. After 20mins we were back at the dealership and I had a good look around. Plenty of room for 6 footers in the back and a large enough boot for carrying anything from a weeks shopping to a load of sports equipment. The infotainment system was the most disappointing thing about the car and not intuitive at all. However, that's not why I want one 😀 No sunroof on this car, so not one for me to buy, however it did confirm that I'm buying the right make & model
  15. 2015 RCF went under the hammer on Friday.Anybody see what it made?
  16. Lazy seller - Can't be arsed to hoover or dust the interior and tries to justify his asking by saying dealer will be close. Nice sunroof though 😀
  17. Can you swap the units over, I mean replace 08 unit with one from a 10 plate with HDD. They look like they would be a straight swap, may have to get it coded to the car?
  18. Nice initial owners review. Lovely colour. This guy does some great in depth reviews:
  19. Ha - and I'm old enough to remember them 🤣
  20. Do the later HDD navs have full postcode capability? Can you upgrade the discs on the earlier models to take full postcode input. Apologies if this has been covered, but I couldn't find out with a search
  21. Nope, not the 1978 classic song from my mis spent youth. 😁 Does feature a very nice LC500
