    I have the V3i, and unless its different spec to the ones in UK, i think it is a decent phone. Nothing impressive about it and nothing crap about it! Everything does what its meant to do. Its def better than the older v3 models. Did they update the software or something?? For the price i paid for mine, I cant complain... Ive had my fair share of phones...being in Hong Kong and all.... Nokias are boring...and the software they use is a nightmare! Samsung are pretty good! Motorola again...no faults... and sony ericssons....well... i just dont like them! they are all the same!

    In hong kong we got Lexus LX470's...they are similar to the Prado's we get out here... big 7 seater things..I think the Jap Toyota version is....uhh...i cant remember haha! We got one parked in my apartment carpark downstairs. next time i go passed it ill look at the name!

    the best way to see if its an imported harrier with all the badges changed...is to look at the steering wheel emblem. you can easily change the exterioir emblems and door sills from harrier to rx...but not the wheel.

    I'm in Hong kong where alot of Harriers are imported from japan. Mos of them are then changed into the lexus versions, i.e the sills, badges, wheel badges, front grille...side repeater mirrors. The only thing they cant get done is change the emblem on the steering wheel..... its easy finding the neccessary stuff to change ur harrier to a rx300 over here

    With normal lights, they come on instantly...whereas when you turn on HID it takes a second or so to turn on to the full brightness... if that makes sense...!?!

    Just found some gum at the back right hand side of the drivers seat. No idea how it got there... its absolutly minging... Anyone know how to get it off without damaging the leather???

    I've only noticed one altezza in HK with a supercharger installed. Was in a tunnel and could hear this screaming from a white altezza. sounded awesome! Bernard, yeh, i havent seen a red one over here either....

    white is pretty much the most common colour for jap cars over in HK, including Accords, altezzas, Integras etc... I hardly see any other colours apart from black, white, silver and a couple of yellow ones. There are altezzas EVERYWHERE. Wherever you look you'll see so many of them!

    Yeh, i live in Hong Kong now and there are so many different models you get here imported from japan that you just dont see in UK. The Alphard is a big luxury 7/8 seater thing, based on the Previa platform, and is VERY big out here! The Caldina GT-4 is pretty mad. Its got like 240bhp or something!? Only found out the other day. The Mark X is also getting pretty popular as its a nice big sedan with lots of power. Kinda similar to the Chaser which im loving right now! Just shame about the rubbish interior..... nevermind!

    Ive installed a DVD player into my Windom and it plays whilst I drive. It is connected to a On/Off swith that ive installed, so if there are any police nearby, I can just click the switch and the picture goes, but the sound still stays on.

    My '02 Windom has chrome handles. Looks good i reckon! Better than if it was colour coded!

    Well i used the car for about a week or so before installing the new headunit and everything seemed fine. However, it was until i changed the headunit that the problems started occuring. If it was the alternator, surely the battery wouldnt recharge whilst the car is in use? It would just stay flat?

    I have that problem too i think. On my Windom, i have a switch that adjusts the stiffness of the suspension. When its on hard, it makes a noise when i hit a bump, as though its bottomed out or something?? Its not too bad when i put it on the softer setting though

    thanks! I'll take it down to the shop where i got the head unit installed and get them to check it out. I'm pretty sure i havent left a light on, unless one of the lights in the glovebox, or in the arm rest are faulty and not turning off properly ← just been to the hi-fi place. they said they dont think its the way they installed it, but they unplugged the headunit and said to try it for a few days without it plugged in and see if its any better. If it fine, then perhaps its a problem with the actual unit and they will change it for me.

    I had the same problem with my '02 Windom. It had the original Sat Nav touch screen monitor. The easiest way was for me to change the whole system to a new Double din headunit which was a 6.5"LCD / Multi region dvd player which just slotted in. The unit including labour cost me 400 quid. Was cheaper than for me to use the original headunit, modify it so it could receive PAL and buy a DVD changer to put in the boot.

    I picked up a '02 Windom 3.0G and am very pleased with it. Engine is very smooth and quiet and the ride is great. However, just last week, i had problems starting the car, and ended up buying a new battery as i needed the car and didnt have time to take it to the garage to get checked. As soon as i put the new battery in, it worked beautifully again. It has been about a week now, and im having trouble starting the engine. Can anyone help ? I have replaced the original double din LCD mon headunit with a aftermarket DVD/TV LCD mon. Has that got anything to do with it?? ANy help would be most appreciated
