  1. Just clicked on the link, but soon turned it off due to the annoying message plastered on the screen.
  2. Agree, to overly red for me and should have gone with the standard red in the RCF & GSF. What were they thinking with red carpets, will be nightmare to keep clean 🤦‍♂️
  3. I just couldn't spend anytime in a track edition due to the utterly dreadful red interior.
  4. I had crabbing this morning on MPS4s, I've also experienced it on my old IS300H and IS220D which both had Goodyear asymmetric tyres. I've got use to it over the years and now don't really pay much attention to it.
  5. I've had my RCF a smidge over two years and up to a few weeks ago was my daily driver. However I've since bought a A Class for daily duties and RCF is now for weekends only. Mileage is now 2-3k pa instead of 9k pa over the last couple of years. Using man maths and keeping the miles off the RCF, I will recupe most of the A Class cost back due to reduced depreciation upon sale and significant fuel savings. Being honest I got use to the RCF and it no longer felt special due to it being my daily. However now being my weekend car, it feels great again and enjoy taking it out and will probably keep it for 5+ years. Not sure on my next car, I like the new Corvette, LC, AMG GT, R8 v10 or maybe something electric. First world problems in these crazy times. This would be my next car if it was available in the UK: https://lexusenthusiast.com/2020/11/16/lexus-lc-aviation-special-edition-sells-out-in-japan/ What a stunning LC500!
  6. Welcome and good to see a familiar RCF stayed within the owners club 👍
  7. Glad to hear upping the pressures seems to have helped.
  8. I have very minimal tyre skip with MPS4's, only happens when the temperature drops into single digits. I've found the tyres are very pressure sensitive and running them anything below 36psi casues the tyres to feel like they have flat spots and can tramline. Had my balance and geo checked recently and everything is ok. Keep the Michelin's at 36psi and they are great👍 Maybe the same with the Potenza's?
  9. Exterior is fantastic, however the interior is not to my taste. I'm an understated chap and as per the track edition (red carpets, what were Lexus thinking) the interior on anniversary edition is too loud for my taste. I like my interiors plain and simple, but I appreciate we're all different and spice is the variety of life 👍 I feel Lexus try's to hard to be different and sometimes fails in it's execution.
  10. Welcome and fantastic looking RCF. However keeping the paint clean sounds like an incredible amount of work compared to a normal laquered finish 😱
  11. Brake discs are currently £67 on buycarparts!
  12. Good taste in music, I like house & tech with a few more genres thrown in for good measure 👍
  13. Only covered 350 miles so far, however they are starting to bed in with less noise. I'm following the brake in procedure so going to do several hard stops once the weather improves. However EBC state it could take 1k miles as I fitted new discs as well. Initial bite is better than the reds and so far I'm really happy with them. I'll report back re dust once they've bedded in as currently going through the break-in coating on the pads.
  14. Congratulations and welcome to the F club 😎
  15. I've just received an email from EBC offering 10% off. Discount code is PAYDAY10 and thought I would share in case it's of interest. The code is valid until midnight 30 September.
  16. Happy to help and being able to source discs and pads improves the ownership experience.
  17. I just have to laugh, spent months waiting and then when I finally order non EBC pads they bring them out 🤣🤣🤣
  18. https://m.buycarparts.co.uk/lexus/rc-gsc1-usc1/107866/10132/brake-disc?brand[0]=65 I picked up the discs when they had 30% off, the sale price changes on a regular basis.
  19. I was unable to source yellow stuff pads for the rear, which was a shame as they were my first choice.
  20. EBC yellow were £110 after discount, rear pads (textar) were £90. A big saving vs OEM which are £346 & £285 on Lexus parts direct, who themselves are significantly cheaper than direct from Lexus. All in I paid £530 for discs and pads all-around, plus fitting at a local indy. First impressions are very positive and I'm really pleased with the initial bite, a bit noisy but that should go within a few hundred miles as everything beds in.
  21. EBC yellow pads now installed, will provide feedback once I've covered several hundred miles.
  22. I second the service plan (I got 60k-80k service plan myself) if you go down the Lexus servicing route. Spread the cost interest free 👍 The only issue I've had in 2 years was the seatbelt alarm going off without any passengers onboard. Was an intermittent issue and used Carista to disable the warning sound as I was out of warranty. I also used it to configure the car to my liking which was an added bonus.
  23. Discs are Brembo, rear pads textar and fronts are EBC yellow. I enjoy the performance of OEM pads, but not the dust and noise. Prior to installing EBC red on the front, the noise was ridiculous and could be heard inside the cabin. Drove me nuts in the summer with the windows down.
