  1. It was black foam covering a what looked like a small dia aluminium pipe Peter. The foam length would only be around 3 inches long. Im wondering now if it could have been the snail having a nibble surely not.
  2. Just seen this in AM online Electric vehicle plan revealed for Toyota and Lexus | Manufacturer (am-online.com)
  3. I asked salesman didnt have a clue he didnt even know they came in to Portbury think he said Southampton
  4. Yes Peter we use this at work occasionally. It,s ok if you know the name of the ship your looking for.
  5. Lifted bonnet after washing and noticed a small metal pipe left hand side as you look standingfrom front. Covered with a small amount of foam. Clearly been nibbled by what i think must be a mouse. Also where the bonnet hinges are the left one against the bulk head a massive snail. That took some getting out due to location. Just a warning to you all if you havent had a look lately might be well worth it.
  6. Yeah Bill i thought itwould have been standard on a luxury car with the auto reverse tilt as well. BMW on one of their forums has a section for coding. But apparently this cant be done with theUK lexus. Enjoy the car.
  7. Ive seen a thread on here somewhere discussing this. Actually showed a map and the ports the ship called at. it has thousands of cars on i believe. japan to UK is about 4 to 5 weeks. They land at Portbury (Bristol) where they go through the various checks as dealers call them up.
  8. Faultless execution of the truth
  9. I think Lewis is perfectly placed in the grid. He will want to stay in 2nd place especially after first turn so that should be key that nobody gets past him there at the first turn from the off. Should this be the case he will be able to take Max when he wants. Ive said this before but tyres are key more so now than ever and i think Lewis is starting with the tyre that will give him more options as the race unfolds. Just needs nobody getting past to first turn. Lewis to win.
  10. I agree Bill i would have thought a luxury brand would have included this. Saying that i dont have it either but i am now getting used to folding them in manually with the switch when required.
  11. I dont think so unless they have just started a promotion. I have just had my first service in September this is what Lexus call a intermediate service cost 255 quid plus vat. i opted to pay as you go. I was offered a service plan and it didnt work out any better to me. I was offered a 10% discount but it still wasnt cheaper. The salesman doesnt work there now i often wonder where he got his figures from. Anyway you havent been overcharged sounds like thegoing rate.
  12. I see Kingspan and Mercerdes have parted company.
  13. Aye i mentioned in the thread earlier regarding the emphasis on tyre management and their degragation
  14. Which car is better suited to next race.
  15. Anyone see that news report on the BBC this morning. It was dedicated to JAPAN and in particular Toyota and the mirami (have i spelt that right) and howJAPAN is moving to Hydrogen. They mentioned how it was produced i think they showed a coal fired power station as well. I dont know if you could catch this on catch up, it was bbc1 news.
  16. Ha Ha yeah i had a golf and there was a big swoosh went i turned a corner as though the shopping bags were shifting from one side to other in the boot LOL.
  17. Agree Paul. Max appeared to Brake test Lewis as he said over car radio. Incident packed race though. Pleased to see Bottas took 3rd.
