    Are the tracks played in album order? I had read elsewhere that Lexus had problems playing eg, track one then track two, instead playing in alphabetical order

    Welcome. The servicing costs you quoted are about the same as my C Class. I can't see that the S Class is cheaper unless at a non franchised dealer. Its hardly sensible to just buy a car, especially a 'prestige' one without factoring in running costs. Those fancy all glass dealerships have to be paid for somehow. Its like someone buying an S Class at a cheap price and then complaining it's expensive to run. It may have only cost them say £6000 but it would still be a £50000 car with it's related running costs.

    Apologies for the thread necro' (I thought it better to add to this rather than start a new thread) With regard to trickle charging the ES, is there any way to have the car all locked and shut up and still have it charging on a driveway, or would the boot have to left ajar? edit....Would there be any adverse effects on disconnecting the battery? I am occasionally away for a month, hence why I'm asking

    I use this. Smell is very personal though. Some say it smells of leather and others disagree. I think it smells like leather, just more like shoe leather rather than upholstery unfortunately

    I believe Tesla have been doing this for some considerable time. First owner buys car and specs it with lots of extra 'toys'. When it is sold on, everything is disabled by Tesla, making the car the basic model once again unless the new owner buys them again

    Can't say I'm surprised Mincey. Happens to me far too frequently. My other half has given up complaining about the longer walk to the shops or whatever. I'd just be thankful there was no damage.

    Esso is always an option. Their premium fuel has no ethanol content (though the pump will still say E5)

    A simple double press of the lock button on the Mercedes key stops it transmitting

    Very nice. With regards to the colour being unlucky, there was a statistic that showed British Racing Green cars were the most likely to be involved in an accident (though that dubious honour is now awarded to black cars)...but then, you can use statistics to prove anything
