Why didn't you save another 20 odd and go with Swinton?

I found Swinton excellent to deal with, but, as usual, they couldn't compete with new business quotes come renewal time.

Pain in the backside having to switch stuff all the time, but sadly, if you don't, you could be thousands out of pocket every year.

...... I renewed again with my usual broker with a coy called Markerstudy. Tried Swinton ( who insure my classic Triumph ) and even with the £75 off they were still miles out .... and Saga ( who I vowed never to deal with again ) and they were dearer too.

I've always found Swinton efficient and helpful when I've called them, but the problem is that they keep ringing me - about any and all sorts of insurance, all year round. If it was a matter of a few pounds more I'd go with someone else just to avoid the calls on my mobile (usually when I'm at work or driving).

I stopped with Swintons 11 years ago for precisely that reason and they still phone and send me emails to this day. Mike

Agreed about Swinton emailing and ringing, but they aren't alone in that regard, Saga still send stuff to my mother and she died nineteen years ago!

Water off a ducks back to me though.

Well, as you say, switching is a pain, and I avoided the hassle of claiming the 75 back
