I have had my engine replaced due to it drinking too much oil. The engine I used was from a 1998 auto and gone in to 2004 manual. Cambelt was replaced before fitting. The engine was fitted and started fine warmed it up and everything is fine

Yesterday I fitted bumpers and lights back up and was revving it all of a sudden revs dropped and engine cut out. Error codes I am getting are p1305,1315,1320 and 1325. Any ideas or info would be of great help

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

All the codes you are getting relate to spark problems.

P1305 Igniter Circuit Fault (Bank #2)
P1310 Igniter Circuit Fault (Bank #3)
P1315 Igniter Circuit Fault (Bank #4)
P1320 Igniter Circuit Fault (Bank #5)
P1325 Igniter Circuit Fault (Bank #6)

I would begin by ensuring all the wiring looms are correctly connected and routed, the fact that all was OK before refiting the front end would suggest something has been disconnected, trapped, chafed during this process.

The ECU controls the firing but engine uses external coil packs/ignitors so it's unlikely to be the ECU. I'd check the common power and earthing that goes to the coils. I'd clear those errors and see it you get any more come up, it could be another sensor that is the issue.

Are you using your original ECU or one from the new engine?

I am using the original ecu that was on the car. I have checked all earths and they are all fine. What do u mean by common power?

And when I delete codes it's still the same it fires up but does almost instantly with the same error codeshare
