Possible Change To Rx450H

Well we have just past our first year of having the Nx and for the most parts have enjoyed the experience but always thought it needed more power. We have been offered a new Nx but decided to do a possible deal with 2014 RX 450H Advance which we drove today and seems very nice especially with the 3.5 V6 power. Was just wandering if any of you have owned one of these and what your thoughts on them are.

The RX450h is very nice if you are okay with the outside styling. Some of the features are showing their age now that the design is 6 years old. The only issue I see is that in a couple of months time the new RX comes out which could impact the value of the current generation.

Deal done today so looking forward to the RX,worked out a good deal in the end as we have come out of the lexus finance deals and will be now much more in control.

One thing we have already noticed is it doesn't go into EV mode anything like as much as the NX did, infact i haven't noticed it go into voluntary EV as yet,but we haven't been anywhere to far so we will see.I do prefer the more powerful engine, and the bigger size but we miss the hold button function from the NX for traffic control.

The Lexus dealer said that the roof and windows cannot be opened/closed enabled by the key fob,but the manual says otherwise does anyone know who is correct?

A little bonus we found on collection was that it had a detachable tow bar fitted from new by Lexus which will be great for the bike rack.

The dealer can program the opening of windows and Sunroof for you
