Had my speakers done - very happy

Had the speakers upgraded on my GS3-2 today. The guys managed to get 6.5inch speakers in the doors - got the following:-

MBQ DWC160 woofers in the front doors

MBQ RTC19 tweeters (set to -6dB)

MBQ DXD216 crossovers

Kicker I600s in the back doors

Result is a much more pure sound that is totally "immersive" - very pleased!!

Hi Dave

The guys made some mounts up, I assume out of MDF - I didn't see what they did but plan to take a door cover off at the weekend and have a look. If you want to - you could use my mounts as templates.

The wiring etc is a piece of p**s.

You're not far away I think (I'm in Brackley) - happy to show you next time you're up this way - and I'll take some pics at the weekend.
