Should I Buy A Uk Is200 Or An Altezza

I have, at present a Subaru WRX STi V5, it is going this week - boo hoo!!

I have serious choice to make - Seat Leon Cupra, IS 200, Skoda RS or Altezza?

Any help?

My choice would have to be the Altezza. You get the is200 style, looks and reliability with the added punch. Nothing like your scoobie but still aint no slouch.

The skoda RS are nice, take off the badges and it becomes a passat.

Altezza is a group 15 insurance which is higher than the is200, but still pocket change in respect to what you were paying for you scoobie i should imagine.

Service costs vary mate... do a search for service costs as this has been asked several times before, and i`m sure it will help reading through them.

Me, I'd choose the IS200...

Sure the Tezza is quicker, but expect to pay a premium on your insurance for it being an an import.

It depends what your looking for in a car really, with all the speed cameras everywhere, i personally dont want a car that can travel everywhere at warp factor 9, so the IS suits me perfectly, fast enough, and the straight-6 is nice a torquey, but its more of a comfy long distance cruiser that can be a blast around country lanes.

I guess the best thing to do is try out all of the cars you mention above (you can probably get a 24-hour test drive of an IS200 from the dealer) and see which suits you most.

in an IS - no.

The seats in the Altezza don`t fold down, but you get a nice little "ski hatch" to poke your fishing rods through!! lol
