Hi,

I have recently been given an IS250 SEL 07 through family. It is a lovely car, apart from a few issues that I would like to try and resolve.

The first is the touchscreen is not working, however there is plenty of information online on how to fix it, so hopefully that should be resolved soon.

The other issue/issues is that the car has a number of rattles and creaks, it really ruins the experience. It has only done 62000 miles so it is a little surprising how rattly it is.

I have identified 1 of the rattles coming from the centre of the dash, around the speaker grill.

The main noise other than the dashboard seems to be coming from the back, and its like a cracking sound generally at low speeds (doesnt even need to be a bumpy road). However, I am struggling to work out where it is coming from, does anyone have a list of common causes of rattles and creaks in the IS250 that may help me try and identify where some of the other noises are coming form?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
