ls400 price rises

does anyone know if the recent price rises on the ls400 are being honoured by the insurance companys or they undervalueing them incase of a claim

£600 was what they said they (AA) valued my 1999 model at - market value they said, so I asked if they could supply me with 10 at that price. I did get it changed upwards, but I know if the worst happened it would be £600 regardless. I'm investigating agreed value insurance this year with one of the specialists.

Insurers seem to do what they want these days.  They always ask for the value of the car, presumably to help set the premium, but I'm sure that has no bearing on what they would pay out in the event of a claim.

Mine is already agreed value at 2K.
