Hey from Northants - IS220d Owner

Morning Peeps, though I had better say hello properly,

Bought a 2007 IS220d about 12 months ago now and have been seriously happy with the car. I do need to make a few subtle mods to the car now so thought I would pop along and say hi.

This isn't going to be a major project, I already have one of those. As you might have guessed by my username, I'm heavily into the old Toyota MR2's, I have finished building a JDM Revision 3 turbo which is my show pet and I am now building quite a unique beast in a 3VZ-FE turbo car. That is my major project (and money pit) meaning my hands are kept from playing too much with the family Lexus.

That said, there are a couple of things I could do with tackling on the Lexus, hence why I'm here.

Technically I am also a Toyota owner with 2 Celsiors but also have a late model LS400.

So what are the plans for the IS220d?

The Celsior? Isn't that the JDM version of the LS?

Plans? Not actually that much. I'm looking at fitting a staggered set of 18" rims to her and dropping it about 30mm on Eibach springs. I've already retrofitted Bluetooth to her to stream from Spotify and hands free calling.....

If I want that performance hit, I take out the MR2 ;) That has just north of 300BHP in a mid engined, rear wheel drive setup that's guaranteed to put a stupid grin on my face ;)

Thanks Mike - She has been a labour of love, no doubt about that. Still, the new one is taking my money and time now and this one is being enjoyed to the full. :)
