DAB radio

My CT is a 2011 Premier. I have the DAB button but I don't have it. In the manual it states see your Lexus dealer. On the flip up screen it's only showing AM and FM. Does anyone know if it's just a module I need that's plug and play?

I don't have the model with the screen, but I have a DAB button also and mine doesn't do anything. Mines an SE L and the salesman said it didn't have the function even though the button was there. Would be interested to know the cost of adding it myself.

Contacted my local Lexus dealer this afternoon. There is an accessory fitted DAB receiver listed at a grand price of £450!

So now I'll have to try and source something from local stereo fitters.

Well, today i received a Pure 2500 pocket dab radio, connected it to the aux output and received crystal clear DAB reception between Glasgow and Gourock. Radio costs £53 at amazon, £3 for an aux cable. I'm delighted with the result. Gives you an option anyway.

Exactly what I was thinking.

There are some receivers you can buy which plug in to the AUX but don't have good write ups regarding reception from the poor aerial they supply which sticks on the inside of your windscreen.

I inderstand the aux cable becomes the antennae, whatever, it works well so far. Bigger drive today so keen to see how it performs, I'll let you know.

Just a brief update, a week in and I have to report it's working really well with little cut off and generally excellent reception. Just a bit annoying to have the aux cable so obvious, i do like a neat finish. Wonder if another aux in could be wired in somewhere discreetly?

I have DAB radio as a feature in the Sport version (not F-Sport) and reception / availability of stations varies from atrocious to non-existent! DAB radio reception on a portable radio is fine.

I have the same issue with a 2011 Premier. I have just spoken to LEXUS in Leicester and the guy seemed quite shocked it didn't work it. He's going to ring me back and let me know.
