i dont think it was meant to state that these cars were produced in 93.. it just states these cars were built after 93! so it could be 99.. but 99 would be after 93.. catch my drift?

Only because when I was insured with Adm last year, I asked about the grouping, they placed mine in this group because it was an import.

hmmm i always thought this too.. but a bit of research i could only see 20 as the highest group... when getting quotes for my car I am sure they said it was higher than 20 and the lady said its the higest she had seen

group 20 is the highest group, there are no higher groups anymore.

the groups were re-grouped a couple of years ago

Definatly group 17 Steve even checked the insurance documents

By the way you have 3.0 SE 4d Auto GS Saloon (1993 on) down as both group 15 and group 17.

Also I was quoted group 17 for insurance for my SE and believed it was group 15/16 only to be told that these are only guides and that an individual insurance companies could put a car in any group of their choosing and charge what they like!

My SE is in group 16 with my insurance company.

Can't see that group matters that much, as there are so many other variables anyway. I might pay more for a group 16 than you for a group 18 because of my postcode or driving record for example.

FWIW I pay just over £500 fully comp protected no claims, which is quite enough ta.

is that for twin turbo aristo, if it is then is quite good for a car this fast.

in japan is either aristo 'S300' & 'V300' but no 4.3 aristo.......
