Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I would second the motor problem, normally inside the gear box there is a park switch which detects the position of the wiper arms then cuts the power when they are fully down (parked). This switch can become stuck with hardened grease preventing it operating so the wipers don't know where to stop.

Access looks fairly easy especially as you have already had the wiper arm spindles off, so remove the scuttle panels to get to the mechanism.

If you would like an exploded diagram to assist with the repair feel free to send me your email by PM.

A replacement motor is retailing around €280.00 but hopefully won't be required.

For the audio problem all I can suggest is try another source of music and make sure aux input is selected.

I assume you have bought the car privately so have no dealer warranty?
