Is 250 c boot light rust

IS 250 -C Emptied boot found it looking like This ??

Took the rubber grommets out and looked underneath. No water getting in. I’m thinking the hood leaked at some point . 
what should I do.

also the speckles of water you can see is where it started to rain !!

Most of that looks like dirt rather than corrosion. Worth giving it a good clean first so you can really see what you are dealing with, then you should be able to use a rust treatment to stabilise and prevent any more corrosion.

I have cleaned it with wd40 to see what was dirt and what was possibly corrosion. It came up ok , just looked this morning and now looks like this.

HI just seen this topic ;I have found that if the car is parked on a slope in the rain some water can seep into the boot through the seals at the bottom of the rear quarters ,this happens to me but very little water I am looking at new seals or making supplementary seals to fit below the seal actually in the boot from thin draught sealing strip
