You’ll get a warning message before the Battery goes flat and, if my memory serves me right, the audio, if this is the culprit, automatically switches off either simultaneously with the warning or very soon after it.

Just leave the car in the Ready state and everything is powered by the traction Battery and that will be recharged as required by the ICE firing up.

Audio will play for long time with a fully charged traction Battery before the ICE cuts in. 👍

Hmmm, shame the 12V Battery is so feeble. I like to pop out to the car a lunchtime when I am at work to listen to the radio for an hour. Doing that with the ignition on (I.e not in Accessory mode) totally screws up my MPG figures 😞

Why not buy a portable USB radio, listen to that for an hour, then charge it up on the drive home ready for the next day?
