Meguiers Vs Race Glaze

Right I was just about to do it,

Spend a wack on cleaning products

Stage 1

Stage 2

Stage 3

Gold Class

And App pads.

However, last minute Kev (GS300UK) told me about Race Glaze

I'm looking at

Stage 1 (pre wax cleaner) and

Stage 2 (wax)

Has anyone used them? are they any good?

And more importantly, is it a panel at time or apply all, then buff all?

Question for Pete or anyone else who wants to answer... Can you apply the Gold Class in one go too?

Anyways I've been told I have a Race Glaze stockist near me, so I will go check them out, however the Meguires guys are a 35 mile around trip away in the middle of nowhere.

Hi I used Meguiars on my GS and now on a black Audi and it's the Muts Nuts

I tend do do one panel at a time with the cleaner, but have found you can go all the way round with the Wax.

Having used this on a Silver motor and now on a Black one, I can say it really works on the darker colours better.

I bought mine via the WWW just wack in www.meguiars.co.uk

They do some sets which give you all you need, also send me a regualr newsletter and offers etc.

Try it you won't be dull ever again!

Apart from stage 1 everything else can be applied all over.

Cant comment on race glaze, never seen or heard of it before, but i would be willing to bet a weeks wages its not better than meguairs.

Has anyone else tried autogleam gloss finish its like baby oil and you have to leave it for 45 mins them wipe it off ,always found it to be good ,do meguires do a simaler thing as i always use there polish

Turtle Wax Gloss Paint Sealent is worth a blast. Once this is on the water beads like crazy & takes all the road c**p with it. Green bottle in Halfords, 'bout £6.00. It works on all types of wax's & polish.

Just apply, let it haze & dust off, no effort req'd. I even let 'er indoors brush past my baby & the paintwork comes up a treat !

I've already wasted over 60/70 on products that claim to sort out swirls and light marks I am not willing to take this risk any more!!!

I should have just got the meguairs to start of with, I didnt want to splash out 40 quid on cleaning products in one go and i wanted it to apply later in the day.

Ok i'm gonna place the online order now and good things come to those who wait!!!

However unlike Pete, I'm gonna leave the 3 stage for a day and then apply the Gold Class on top B)

i have been thinking about getting some megauirs but as i have a silver car i have found that it doesnt really matter what polish etc i put on - it all lokks pretty much the same.

I'd recommend Maguiars for anyone with a dark coloured car

I always used Gloss Coat and Autoglym until I tried Meguiars last October - must admit it was hard work as I started right back with Quick clay but the water is still beading now so worth it IMO.

Maz,yours is new paint so i would ask the bodyshop b4 you put on any polish/wax.
