IS200 Gear Change

ok this might sound like a stupid question(:?:) but what speedsdo you change gears in for IS200?? how far can you go with each gear. i.e what speed do you change from 1st-2nd, 2nd-3rd etc. and also changin down gears.

Standard IS200's please not you supercharged geezers we cant all get insured on cars wit superchargers especially when your 19!!!!!!!!!!!!!:tumble:

It's in the manual but if I remember right its something like

gear mph

1 29

2 53

3 77

4 95

5 115

best check though - don't rely on my memory for the health of your engine!

I drive mainly in London, so generally change up immediately ie:

1st - 2nd once car starts to move,

2nd - 3rd about 25MPH

3rd - 4th 30MPH

4th - 5th 40MPH if legal

However for those Street light drags:

1st - 2nd about 33MPH?
