JZS160 no power to 10amp heater fuse

Good day!!

I’ve been reading the forum for awhile  since working on my sons Aristo he just imported from Japan (into Canada)
So far pretty informative 😁

We have not been able to find the answer to this question however.
We have tested:
Blower motor
Relay
Resistor
Head unit
50 amp fuse
and pulled 10 amp heater fuse.
All is good, sort of.

We have determined there is no power getting to the 10amp heater fuse.
The rest of the fuse box has power, all except the 10 amp heater fuse has no power getting to it.

Anyone have an idea where to go from here?
can we modify the fuse box to use an different fuse space or is there a bigger issue?

Thanks in advance.
c.

You need the wiring diagram to see what's upstream of the 10A heater fuse.

Domestic consumer units here in the UK have one big cable coming in that connects (via the main switch) to a busbar that provides power to all the individual fuses/circuit breakers, but I don't know if car fuse boxes work on the same principle. If they do, it would suggest a break in the busbar but that seems unlikely.

I would look upstream on the wiring diagram and take it from there. Check for continuity, not just voltage.

Thanks for responding.
We can find a lot of diagrams but nothing specific to this fuse and where the power comes from.
I find it odd power for the kick panel fuse box wouldn’t all come from the same source as you suggest though which is the confusing part.
we will need to pull the box off and take a look.
I’m certain the Aristo is exactly the same as the UK Lexus.
