Following promotion and paying off my IS I looked into trading it for an RX300 (kids y'know) Fantastic car though.

The repayments scared me especiallially after not having to pay for my car. So I looked at Jags (phffff bad service, poor drive, cheap wood), Mercs (good CS but poor rep from anyone who bought one). BM* NEVER! HORRIBLE DRIVING POSITION.

The conclusion with the wife was trade mine for an IS se (all the extra toys) NAV as an interim, but should I?

I am looking to get an RX in 12 months. My S Nav has 66k miles. Jag offered me £10.5xK on their car. What can I expect against a nearly new IS Nav?

I would think a Lexus dealer would only give you the same price as the jag dealer.

I would keep your existing IS until you are ready for an RX

Agreed....

Given that there is a new is200 next year anyway, you'll see an increased depreciation next year anyway.

Furthermore, I picked up a pre reg'd is200 se with nav + body kit for 18.5k two months ago. I'd hate to see how much you'd lose is you bought another is200 before th rx300.

Be wise, start sticking a tonne of dosh into a nice high interest account somewhere
