Just out of interest, has anyone vinyl wrapped or painted the chrome trims on their Lexus to make the car more of a 'black edition'?

It may of course just be me, but never been a chrome fan.

I even swapped the badging on previous cars for black

I'd hazard a guess that most UX owners wouldn't mod their vehicle, whether they slightly prefer the black look or not.

I'd recommend wrap rather than painting so you can put it back to standard when you come to sell it.

Damn!!! It's just me then that dislikes the chrome bits

No, you are not alone.

But I'll leave the car as it is. Still I like the look of the wrapping of one of the cars in the forum.

Premium sport models came with less chrome as they had a black grill surround and roof rails, have a look on autotrader for indication of how it may look.

I am potentially looking into wrapping the chrome on my UX once it arrives (due November. Premium Sport has been discontinued for MY2023, so my order is a premium pack). Will be doing the grill surround, roof rails and chrome window surrounds. The window surrounds will need to be done using a knife less technique (plenty of YouTube videos showing this) to prevent any damage to window rubbers.
