Lightweight Flywheel And.........

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know the weight of the standard flywheel?

What are the weight differences between other Lightweight brands on offer which will fit the IS200.

Also which high performance clutch kit (complete with new pressure plate and bearing etc) to go for which offers a simular pedal feel to Oem?

I think.....( and expect to be corrected if i`m wrong)

The standard one is 14kg

TRD lightened flywheel is 7 kg

TOM`s Ultra light flywheel is 6.3 kg

For the Altezza anyway, someone clarify if they are the same as the is200 ( Think they are..)

TRD site says their flywheel is for Altezza/IS200, so I think that'll be the same for the TOM aswell :zee: Are their actually any downsides to a lighter flywheel? (Vaguely remember some text from Gran Turismo 3 but not sure if that's the flywheel)

This is real life .... Not a game :P

I love that game..

Would be nice to have the weight's confirmed for the UK IS200 seeing that they do use a different Engine and perhaps gearbox, but I don't really know.

Yes as far as I know stock 13.6kg, TRD fw 6.9, and JUN 6.3 or such.

But... is it possible to use JUN fw and TRD clutches?

The TRD flywheel doesn't fit into the IS200 (I6) as far as I know.

Or would it fit? In the TRD list is also Lexus IS200 shown.... a bit weird.
