Anyone else's app not showing remote heating options

Recommended Posts

Hi I have had an issue with the app for about a week now. Connects to the car, shows current milage and charge status, but every time I try and remote start the car it just returns an error message. I have got in touch with the dealer who informed me his sales managers car is also doing this. He is going to raise with Lexus.

Anyone else having this issue?

I've just tested the climate control from the app and successfully set the heated steering wheel to come on. I 'm not planning on going out in the car so I switched it off after a couple of minutes but it appeared to be working and gave no errors.

Remote starting of the car? I don't see any option for this in the app (v4.14.0) and understood that this feature was only available in the USA.

I have the app and it is on there and I have successfully used it on my 350h.
open app and on screen 1 look for the propeller symbol  just under picture of your vehicle ( my phone is an iphone). When you click the propeller symbol this takes you to heating & defrost.

hope this helps.

Of course on the coldest morning so far the app stops working!!!

Yes, went to preheat at 08:30 and the options were no longer showing in the app, but as I had no electric power or range wasn't sure it was related to that and it being -3C...

Just checked again and apps stuck loading at 55% so something's down it seems...

Forgot to say if you use the heating app the car will start but all doors remain locked. If you then go to open  door the engine stops immediately.  A good safety feature that stops sneak thieves jumping in and driving off in your pride and joy.

Yes I  have a similar problem, sometimes it says cannot turn on because Battery voltage too low. Or error, your vehicle doesn't allow  to switch on climate control right now. Please try again in a couple of minutes. Tried several time still not working.

Any suggestions?

I prefer to have the car plugged in, into either my Alfsen home charging socket or into a domestic socket when using climate control via the app. If your traction Battery is low, it wouldn't be a good idea to drain it further.

Thanks Harrier but I  tried in all different ways, plugged  in or unplugged, after a long drive, etc.

The only way it works it's manually. But it has worked remotely a few times in the past.
