Huh!?!?!?!

Recommended Posts

my speakers started crackling yesterday, they sounded like the radio

was desperately trying to find a signal.

first i thought my cd was skipping, but it was fine.

cd, radio or cassette, the speakers just kept cutting out, crackling,

cutting out, crackling.

took the unit out thought it might just be a lose connecter, but no luck.

tap the dash around the stereo, or the stereo itself, and it would be fine for a few

seconds and then back to the irritating noise !!

took it to lexus hatfield today, and they said " the problem is due to the base box

in the boot touching the boot springs running under the rear shelf from left to right"

:blink::blink::blink:

they told me to get the box away from them would cure the crackling.

i walked out a bit :unsure::wacko::blink::huh::excl::excl:

what does the boot springs have to do with the stereo :question:

no chance of that.

they told me that they had this problem before.

one lexus owner had filled the boot with suitcases so tight that

the spring was slightly pushed up and it caused the same problem as mine.

so no chance of shorting or vibrating would be caused by a suitcase !!
