Scratch On Door

Some f****r scratched my near side passenger door with a coke can in the Trafford Centre car park and left the evidence on the floor!

Can anybody recommend somewhere near to Chester (15 mile radius) to get it fixed? Will Lexus Chester do it - and does anybody have any experience of them doing bodywork repairs?

You have a couple of options, depending on how big/deep the scratch is.

take it to a lexus/Toyots dealer, although this may mean they will have to spray the whole door and also blow in the surrounding areas.

Try calling chipsaway, you can find them on the net, and ask them to put you in touch with a chap near you.

Chipsaway would probably be the cheaper option, but worth looking into both.

One more thing......Lexus give all cars a 12yr body warranty. This can be affected if you have bodywork done by anyone else.

Why do people get jealous of an ordinary bloke who works hard to save cash to buy a new car? This kind of behaviour rubs me up the wrong way. You spend all day waxing just for some prat to think your car door is an etch a sketch.

If I ever see anyone doing that in a car park, I'll put a stop to that, and I ain't a small lad ;-)

Is the scratch too deep to try using cutting compound like T-Cut? If they have scratched thru the lacquer, then you prob need help.

Lexus Chester did a good job, when I scratch my front wing on the gate post!!! but they do use an outside body shop.

Lexus use an outside contractor: Ask your local dealer who they use :winky:
