How about SeaSuckers, seen them on quite a few high end SUVs and saloons.  Also might be worth looking at Treefrog

I use Saris bones, but from my experience they work better on cars with either a long flat boot, or a vertical face (like landrover).

John   I see from the photo that you didn't keep the original alloy wheels, presumably they corroded and blistered as bad as mine.I think the dealer replaced 4 or 5 of mine under warranty.

No. Changed wheels to get forged very light wheels as I was considering using it for more fun than just driving around in it. Also changed to adjustable shock absorbers. Thought about a bit more power also, but in the end decided to just enjoy living here.

 And the car was really nice. No problems at all. Was handling just as well as the first generation MR2.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Seasucker mini-bomber. I've used mine for 7.5 years and find it easy and secure. A friend uses one on the glass roof of his Tesla.
