That’s interesting yes is it possible?

As I prefer to have a quieter car when I want it to be.

Plus I already have that distintive whirr noise at low revs coming from the gearbox. Somtime it seems louder than the engine.

I drive a 2002 IS 200 Sportcross, and I NEED more power!

How much does this s/c-kit costs in the uk?

I live in Norway, and I can get this kit installed with full motor-warranty at my local Toyota-store for about £6000 (that's about 70 000,- Norwegian money).

Does the kit harm the engine or drivetrain?

I see that a turbokit costs about 3000 $ in the us - this gives about 240 hp.

Is this a better choice than a compressor?

Sorry about my bad English.... ;)

Kindly regards

Remi

Is it possible to install an "pop-off valve" (like there is on a turbo-car) on a compressorinstalled Lexus? I really like the "pttssssshhhhh-sound" when yo drop the gas-throttle.

It makes this noise anyway when you thrash it - I heard mine do it earlier but I was thrashing the nuts off it!

I think if you change the TTE airbox to something like the HKS induction kit that TDI offer the sound becomes much more pronounced!

It's the bypass or something that makes the noise with the charger.

does relocating the clutch reservoir mean you dont have to share the master cylinder for both the clutch and brake? is there any pro & con if they are shared? was also thinking of using some high performance clutch & brake fluid for my clutch & brakes.......... :whistling::whistling::whistling::whistling:
