Hi, anyone know if the exhaust changes throughout the years? Looking for a y pipe and resonator replacement, found a 96 one for sale that looks like mine which is a 98 year and wondering if anyone knew if there were any difference?

Thanks

That Y pipe…you can buy at a balanced price (not stupid but it’ll cost you) from a few suppliers. I ended up with a fabricated section all fitted for less than 300 quid.

Agree with posts, check the part numbers…can yours be saved by the way?

Thankyou, part numbers are different and they are slightly differently shaped, it's not to bad, more of a preventive measure if anything it's not really leaking however it has been welded pretty poorly, and has a few tiny tiny holes maybe a couple of mm, just after a cheap second hand one to be honest, I do need a resonator for it too.

I had mine replaced / totally fabricated by a local exhaust specialist place in Bower Lane Maidstone Kent about 30 mins from me " recently "  £300+ vat .......  the new OEM from Lexus , now totally unavailable, last I read on here was about £700

Not sure you'll ever find a 2nd hand one for your Mk3  ........  is it ?
