ISF at Newark?

So, has anyone been to see the ISF at Sarah Cox cars, Newark?

And if so, any comments (PM or otherwise).

It's been up there for a while...

No, but god it looks a right beast. Stick a couple of wings on that engine and you don't need to go the airport.

I mean surely that's got to be tempting.

That’s not far from me, had I known last week I would have dropped by for a look.

Judging by the pictures you could spend half a day there looking at the cars on display, I wonder if they let you sit in that red racing car 😀

What did make me smile was when looking at the ISF there was a title further down the page entitled “Similar Vehicles” one of which was a Peugeot 208!

If it’s still there when I next visit my cousin in early November I’ll call in and report. Having said that some LOC member will probably have bought it by then.

Never realised it was £695.00 a year road tax!

To save you all searching

Interesting in that my 2004 JDM Celsior is taxed under the old system so over 1500cc presently £325.00 a year less than a same specification UK LS430.

I would assume that a JDM ISF imported into the UK would be the same rate?

On the other hand mine is not exempt from ULEZ charges whereas a UK spec LS430 is.

I ain’t driving anywhere near London!

I've seen it, went to collect a car for a family member from there last month, the owner had a smile on his face when we turned up in my car and we had some nice conversations. It's a tidy example from what I could see looking around the outside and inside. The staff there were fantastic to deal with. It might need a waterpump from conversations with the owner of Sarah Cox cars. Having seen it in person, I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet. I didn't ask about the service history.

I've noticed this has been up for sale for quite a while now. Perhaps because it's an '08 model without the LSD? Also overpriced, IMO.

There is not a great number of similar vehicles in the market to make a comparison with. However, what there is suggests it's maybe slightly below market price.
