Interior trim questions ?

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are looking to buy a UX250h, 2020 on, and would like a model with a brighter interior than the usual black. I have seen cars on line with what look like cream or grey leather trim, some with a matching head lining, some with a black head lining. Was this an option that had to be chosen ? Is there just the 2 lighter trim colours ?

thanks

I think it was just the rich cream that came with a lighter headlining. However you don't notice the black headlining, its the seat colour that is important.

If you are after a used car, check pictures and ask.

Thanks Paul

i have been contacting various Lexus dealerships, you would be surprised how many salesmen don’t know what’s available and in what spec of car, that’s why I asked on here, I tend to find that owners have more of an idea 👍

Hi Ian mine is a 20 i went black it has black headliner at the time you could opt for lighter seats and their was a lighter headline. Some have stated its a bit dull in the cabin i think thats the reason an option exists for a sunroof as well. Happy buying.

Hello

My 2020 F Sport has white leather seats and armrests with black headlining. The front seats have a black vertical stripe. This package was standard at the time. It’s not dark inside. I was and still am very pleased with it.

F Sport with white interior wasn't available initially, it became available as a choice at some point in 2020.

These are the MY2021 options:

My old 2020 F-Sport had the red leather option, which had black headlining. Whilst it did brighten it up and I always liked opening the door to be greeted with the red leather, sitting in the back still remained a slightly 'gloomy' place with the black headlining I will admit. Fortunately I was rarely in the back!

There was indeed a light cream/white option. It was in the demonstrator I driven (it was a relatively early car on a 69 plate) and whilst I also liked that, I was mildly concerned about keeping it clean. Not only that, I did once have an Audi A3 with black and light grey leather - which wasn't too dissimilar.
