My latest insurance premiums renewal quote from directline has increased 3x. LV will not give me a quote. I've now tried to get a new quote from Lexus Insurance directly and the message I've received is that they cannot give me a quote! I don't whether to cry or laugh. I have no claims or conviction & clean license. Anybody have had the same problem?

The obvious question is - have you tried a comparison site?

Choose the cheapest one. The RX thefts in London are the cause of this.

Try the comparisons sites increase your excess, change your mileage so its more accurate.

Some you will phone directly like Direct Line and a few others mentioned in the forums.

I know how it feels my Lexus ls600hl was harder to insure than my Bentlay Continental Gt. Truly bonkers!

London and anywhere else an RX or other chocolate canbus system Lexus is left unattended.

Top tip - phone Lexus customer services and shout at them. Then go into your dealer and shout at them. Eventually, when an RX is worth 12p because nobody can insure them at any price Lexus will get the message and issue a recall.
