Parking Sensors

Recommended Posts

Has anybody fitted parking sensors to the rear bumper of IS200?

Do I need to take off the rear bumper? If so how.

I would be most grateful for any help on this matter.

Marty

Done it on a gs300, take bumper off and install upwards and inwards, whichever type you have (rear LED's or front LED's with sound) my sensors diameter=1.5cm barrel length 5cm(depth)

Got small round "v" type recessed sensor 22mm for back bumper.

Taking the bumper off looks to be a bit of a task, saw some plastic plugs on the underside and a couple of screws on the wheel arch but that looks about it.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I have purchased some parking sensors that will need to be connected to the reverse light. Is there any guide where I connect to? Or an electric schematics of the car?

Regards,

Nik
