B) new one has been replaced under warranty got no ERR 3 now, it only happened now and againbut what the heck, so I decided to change.

went into lexus Leeds last saturday told them the problem and the fit chick that

was dealing with me to come back today. She also said that I should not have any further problems as they have sorted why it does what it does but the new one will

still be covered under the five year warranty.. B)

Thats great to know that the 2nd unit is covered. I had mine replaced in April04 under the warranty and the cd player after playing for 4 mins just packs up. I have contacted Lexus and they are dealing.

No, five years. Although any replacement part should have a 12 warranty (if it is new) even if the main warranty expires.

and that is beacause I could not get down to the dealer any sooner due to work

hello, anyone having cd player problems should go to US FORUM for e300 and read the gen from subsciber PIONEERSUBY you will then be able to ask your lexus dealer some good questions, cheers gds :) :)

Just had mine done at Exeter - replaced within a week.
