I have been looking at this page and noticed the images in the gallery are of a IS500 at the detroit 2001 show.. does anyone know anymore in this? you have to be a member to see full size pics

Couldn't they have done something substantial to the Next Gen model. Looks to me as if the front has had a band aid applied to see it to 2007? Core bodywork is the same, so it would appear as if no major rework of the chassis has taken place, not that its needed, but times move on!!! Are Lexus/Toyota getting complacent? As a compny car driver, I would prefer them to sort out the emmissions first, as I quite like the existing styling!!! But the Yanks (Sorry!!!) don't have the same priorities as the UK when it comes to Tax, and no matter what a Lexus dealer may say, the Tax premium is too steep. Give us a new European option, with decent CO2 emmissions and a fresh take on the styling and Lexus could take on Bavaria's finest!!

I think this is photoshopped. The dipped headlights look far too big to me. The whole lamp cluster looks like it has been cut and pasted from the Honda Jazz.

i actually like it.....even if its still using the exzisting shell,we know the V8 fits...and so would the V6........

so why drastically change the overall package....if it works update it dont change it...ford have been doing it for years as have VW..........and BMW

i agree. why change to a totally new design when the current one is good. if the engines fit , use them!

just hope for some decent mpg's and better paint please LEXUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
