Hey all.

I'm from the UK and have a 2000 IS200 SE.

Its my dads company car so i can't mod it :( Had it for two years now and eventually I'd like to get my own.....but i don't know many 20 year olds who have access to a Lexus so its all good :) Just thought i'd intro myself. Nice to see a community exists for us Lex drivers :)

Also, you should get your dad to join to - get him to promise not to cramp your style first though

My car's a lease car so no mods either, yours won't be out of place :)

Claire - in my experience most leasing companies will let you modify your car as long as you pay for it and you ask them - go for it girl!!

Yeah, they're normally OK with mods as long as they don't reduce the value of the car and that you sign an agreement saying that you'll either remove them at the end of the lease or they become the property of the leasing company.

Check the company contract though - I got mine as I took the cash option rather than the company car - and the scheme has a clause stating that the vehicle used for business cannot be moddified.

Thanks I'll check it out for sure. I don't think I'd heavily mod it as my insurance is pretty steep anyway (no no claims discount as yet) but quite like the idea of an HKS exhaust. If I had the funds though a supercharger would be the order of the day!!! I'm used to driving a Prelude V-Tech and leaving everyone far behind me, these days I have to settle for just a little bit of BMW stomping !!
