Seeing as I am in full flow with some posts, a query which has bothered me for a while

The headlights could do with a shine and I have noticed past posts saying Brasso is good

Surely this is some sort of abrasive and will dull the plastic

Shouold I take the plunge and try - or can someone advise me first

Thanks

wll brasso will strip road film away no problem don't know if it will be any good for the plastic though greygate plastic polish is a good one though will make the headlights easier to clean the bugs off in the summer too

I use Meguairs PlastX polish - really cleaned my old IS head lamps and fog lights a treat - took a few goes as it is not very "cutting" but bottled out of the Brasso route as I felt this was too abrasive - cribbed this from the web for info:

Meguiars PlastX Clear Plastic Cleaner & Polish G12310

This easy to use, rich gel formula quickly restores optical clarity to both rigid and flexible clear plastics. Cutting-edge advancements in Meguiar’s exclusive Microscopic Diminishing Abrasive Technology (MDAT) easily removes oxidation, chemical degradation, contamination, stains and light surface scratches. Plastx also contains long lasting durable protection to keep your plastics clear and beautiful longer. PlastX is non-toxic and does not contain harsh solvents.

I'm another Brasso user as well after reading that it worked well on LOC.

It seems to do a fantastic job - looks a bit dodgy when your headlight goes yellow but wipe it all off and they are like brand new again :)

Just be careful you don't get it on the paintwork!!
