hi all

help my system has no volume it works but can only just hear it

i think the amp has gone bang any body got any imfo on the amps

or poss aftermarket replacement and how to connect to the oe speakers

I had the same problem with my radio on my car,sometimes the system was quiet when you turned the radio/CD on you would have to have it on full volume....sometimes it was real loud,then the other week i tryed the radio and like you have no sound!!

I think my amps gone....ive the standard system in my car...

Lexus quoted me £473+VAT for a new amp :D :D :D :D

must be a common problem as i noticed on one of the receipts from when i bought the car was for a new amp although this says the amp is £287.80 + vat + fitting

so your 400 odd sounds steep and that was at lexus sheffield

hi think i have found the problem with mine

i had a can of antifreeze in the boot that leaked on

to the amp have removed the amp used switch cleaner

and now waiting for it to dry out will let you know the

outcome, fingers crossed i dont want to have to replace

the ic's.

antifreeze eek would wash out your boot then that stuffs a bit paint and fibre unfriendly (stinks too)

guys.. check out the Swift Lexus Spares Banner at the top of the page... they break alot of GS300's... I am getting a Air Con compressor for 20% of the original cost of a brand new one.

Give them a call!.. dont forget to mention LOC

hi all i was lucky after cleaning

out and drying with air line

and leaving in warm room over night

refitted the amp and it works fine

thanks for the replies all i need now is a

cd changer to replace the one missing from

car when i bought it
