Satellite Coax

Does anyone know if the coax used for Sky+ satellite is just normal bog-standard TV coax or is it summink special??

Yep- standard 75 ohm co-ax. Same for NThelL cable

Emm it isnt standard it is digital compatible.

NTL cable is indeed totally different from SKY cable as well.

NTL cable is a much better standard than Sky cable.

Make sure and get the right stuff mate

You need a CT100 or CT125 cable 75 Ohm Impedance. What about connectors you will need them too

CT125 is not required uless the run is over 100metres but a run of over 100 metres would also need an amp to boost signal so CT100 will be good enuff.

I'm moving my Sky+ box and therefore need to extend both satellite cables by about 10 metres.

The above is indeed the best fix for just a couple of metres
